Drunken Emails

Something I have not done for a very long time is send drunken emails.  Back in my “younger and more wild days” I use to stumple home from an underage party with a stomach full of rum and a head full of wit…at least I thought it was wit, others, I’m sure would disagree.  Anyway, I would sit down at my computer before going to bed and type off a quick email to all of my friends…and relatives…and teachers…and girlfriends…and ex-girlfriends…and, well, pretty much anyone that was in my inbox.  Naturally, I got mixed replies to these emails.  For example, my friends thought it hilarious when I sent them an email telling them I was about to lose my virginity…my girlfriend who got the email the next day, not so much.  My mother was even less impressed.

I have decided that this is something I wish to start doing again.  This time though, instead of sending emails I will just do blog updates.  Don’t expect these the night of though.  You can expect them the next day.  Why?  Well, to be honest, I have responsibilites that I never use to have.  I promise that I will not edit or censor the emails that I publish…however, I might choose to not publish some emails.

Given the nature of the writing process, I have no idea how often I will update this section of my blog.  Feel free to leave comments, ask questions or even leave dares for me to carry out next time I am drunk.  I’ll do what I can to debase myself for the entertainment of others.
